On October 18-19, 2023, the Director of the Center of International Education and Cooperation Tetyana Shtanko and the Dean of the Faculty of International Economic Relations and Information Technologies, Professor Yulia Polyakova took part in the working meeting of the project "Entrepreneur - Entrepreneurial Preparation for Notable and Engaging Universities" in Patras, Greece.
The event was also attended by representatives of the University of Silesia in Katowice (Poland), Vytautas Magnus University (Lithuania), Teaching Factory Competence Training Center (Greece), University of Castile-La Mancha (Spain), GrantXpert Company (Cyprus), Mälardalen University (Sweden).
The meeting was dedicated to the discussion of issues related to the preparation of students for entrepreneurial activity, the development of educational materials and training programs, the functioning of Technology Transfer Centers and Innovation Centers at higher education institutions.
Prof. Yu. Polyakova presented the report of Lviv University of Trade and Economics on the current activities and achievements of our institution within the framework of project implementation and prospects for the further development of the educational process taking into account the requirements of the business environment.
During the meeting, the participants had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the activities of the Teaching Factory Competence Training Center in Patras, Greece, which is dedicated to the development of new innovative solutions that can be practically implemented in industry.
Also the International Hackathon was held - a competition of innovative ideas among students from institutions participating in the project.
