On February 12, 2025, Associate Professor of the Department of Tourism and Hotel and Restaurant Business and Director of the Innovation Center of Lviv University of Trade and Economics Yuriy Myronov participated in the seminar "Introduction to COIL: Collaborative Online International Learning". The event was held online bringing together educators, researchers, and educational experts from various countries.
During the seminar participants discussed key issues related to the implementation of the COIL methodology in higher education programs. Additionally, the challenges and prospects of applying COIL were considered, including the adaptation of educational programs to international standards, the development of digital skills among students and faculty, and the creation of an effective environment for intercultural interaction.
Participation in the event facilitated the establishment of professional connections with colleagues from other countries and provided new ideas for implementing innovative teaching methods at Lviv University of Trade and Economics.
