On March 6-7, 2024, the Director of the Center of International Education and Cooperation Tetyana Shtanko and the Dean of the Faculty of International Economic Relations and Information Technologies Professor Yulia Polyakova participated in meetings dedicated to the development of international cooperation between universities from different countries which were held in the Pontifical University of John Paul II in Krakow, Poland.
Within the meetings of Prof. Yulia Polyakova held a lecture for PhD students on the "Public Diplomacy as a Communication Tool of Modern International Journalism." The participants of the event discussed issues related to the goals, features, target audiences, components and areas of application of public diplomacy in world practice and the role of public diplomacy in the process of promoting the image of Ukraine at the international level in the conditions of a full-scale war. During the discussion, scientists shared the experience of Poland and its prospects in the development of public diplomacy.
Meetings were also held with representatives of the Center of Research and International Cooperation of John Paul II University to discuss the development of international cooperation including the implementation of international academic mobility under the Erasmus+ program, the exchange of experience in teaching and organizational work, the organization of joint events, the use of partnership opportunities and the peculiarities and prospects for participation in international projects.
