From April 20 to 23, 2026, Tetyana Shtanko, Head of the Department of International Education and Cooperation, and Professor Yulia Polyakova, Dean of the Faculty of International Economic Relations and Information Technologies, were on a working visit to the Opole University of Technology (Poland) as part of the ERASMUS+ Academic Exchange Program Information Week.
During their stay, representatives of the University participated in the international scientific event “Creative Partnerships,” which brings together scientists, innovators, and educators and promotes the development of international cooperation between higher education institutions from different countries. They also familiarized themselves with the basic principles and features of organizing the educational process in the European academic system, the work of individual departments, and participated in discussions on international cooperation, graduate employment, and the implementation of research projects. Preliminary agreements were reached regarding the organization of joint events and the development of academic exchange programs for students and faculty.
It is worth noting the foreign partner’s openness and interest today in intensifying cooperation with Lviv University of Trade and Economics, especially in the face of new challenges, when support for education and science is not only a professional but also a humanitarian expression of solidarity.
